In order to fully benefit from this practice, it is essential to connect with and master your breath. In our resort, we follow the Wim Hof method, which emphasises the importance of combining breathing exercises with Ice Bath immersion.

Some hotels in Alaçatı offer this experience free of charge, which fits perfectly with our commitment to holistic wellness. For those who want to try it at home, we recommend that you gradually expose your whole body to cold water for one minute, starting with your feet and legs immediately after showering.

If carried out carefully, there is usually no risk; hypothermia only occurs when there is a sudden and unprepared exposure to cold.

Wim Hof’s wisdom also applies here: “to feel is to understand.” The most effective way to grasp this transformative experience is to immerse yourself in it first-hand.

There is no strict timetable for the duration of the Ice Bath. We encourage beginners to start with a short one-minute session, gradually increasing this time as they gain confidence, even exceeding their personal records.
